Policies

When you visit Maude we want you to have the best possible experience. Ideally, we would love to greet you a few moments prior to your appointment and give you a chance to settle in and relax. Here are a few pointers on our in-store policies on cancelations and purchases.

Running Late
Maude understands that everyone has their bad days and sometimes you can get a little behind schedule. However, to ensure everyone is properly pampered, we reserve the right to reschedule any service that’s 15 minutes behind schedule to another time that is more convenient for you. You can’t rush perfection!

Cancelations
Should you need to cancel your appointment with us, please try to do so 24 hours in advance. This will give us an appropriate amount of time to schedule another guest in your place.

Payment Types
Maude accepts Visa, Mastercard, America Express, Discover, personal checks, cash, and of course, Maude gift cards! We also extend the courtesy of offering cash back on your credit card if you aren’t carrying any cash.

Product Returns
We hand select the products that we carry, but you may not love them as much as we do! You may bring back any product you don’t like and exchange them for an old favorite, or let us suggest something new.

Hair Adjustments
Hairdressing is a form of artistic expression and we celebrate the creativity and individuality of each of our artists! They are committed to their craft as well as to serving you. If you are ever dissatisfied with one of her artists creations, please call within 2 weeks after your appointment and give us the opportunity to re-work our masterpiece. It may be something simple that can be adjusted by the same stylist or you may find one of her other artists to your liking. Whichever you prefer, we want you to feel comfortable communicating your needs, and please do not feel guilty about seeing another stylist - it is your hair and you should love it!

Children
Maude has children of her own and welcomes yours with open arms!  As fun as the salon may be, please be sure to watch your little ones. Maude is fun but there are a lot of dangerous items in the salon and we don’t want anyone to get hurt.
